Exploring sound and colour through the Sound Art experiments

(An homage to) Elizabeth G

Digital print of the notes in the chord of G major.

This is an homage to Sarah's piano teacher whose favourite chord is G major.

Over the last few years Sarah has gained an interest in how to explore sound other than listening to a piece of music or tone.  How can you 'see' sound?

She found that using a Chladni plate, enables patterns to form according to the tone that is played.

Sarah works in a very structured way, and through research, came across the Newton colour wheel, whereby Issac Newton had assigned colours for notes on the scale.
